Flew off to BKK for a short family trip back in May! It has been a good 4 years since our last visit and it was certainly good to be back in the land of smiles (yay to thai milk tea and mango sticky rice too)! It was rather impromptu (to me and my family at least), in the sense that we booked the tickets and everything else about 2 weeks before the actual trip, and had everything decided in that one very day - from deciding on whether to go or not, to which hotel we should stay in. Well, of course, i did hear/read stories about people booking their air tickets the day before they were due to fly. So if we were to compare, maybe our trip wasn't that impromptu after all.... hahaha. Anyhow, we did managed to score a suite at Berkeley Hotel Pratunam, which is just a stone's throw away from Platinum Mall. Best part? We get to have a great 30th floor view from the window everyday :)

Unlike our first trip, we managed to cover places such as Artbox and Chatuchak Weekend Market this time round. That being said, however, we didn't get to head to Union Mall or the Commons (insert many sad emojis). But that's fine because we can leave it for the next trip right? After all, people always say that the third time's the charm hahahaha!
