Just last Saturday, i posted a 15-second guitar-cover video on Instagram. So, i thought i might as well upload the full version up here! It's not exactly the full version but half of the song actually hahaha.
It has been a good 4 years since i touched the guitar (that is, before i entered SMU), so please forgive me if i didn't play it well! During that 4 years, i kind of abandoned it to learn the piano and drum. So hopefully someday, or probably during the recess week, i could cover Romance De Amor on the piano (which was also a piece i played on the guitar and posted on IG).
The guitar have always played a big part in my childhood. I started going for lessons when i was around 9 or 10 years old and finally decided to 'give it a break' when i was 16 years old. Guess i can safely say that it has been my companion for about 6 years? Despite that, i can't really play very well. Like all other 9 years old at that time, i didn't take my lessons very seriously. And being the youngest in class didn't helped either because my teacher was really lenient with me when i didn't practice. Then, the 16 year old me decided to quit lessons because i was juggling with O' Levels, CCA and tuition (2 times a week some more). My guitar haven't seen any light since then LOL. The good thing is that i'm now in Guitarissimo. So at least, i wouldn't have any excuses to not touch the guitar anymore. But anyhow, amidst all the crazy workload, i find that playing the guitar can be rather therapeutic (which totally explains the sudden 15-seconds guitar covers on IG haha)!
Putting the guitar part aside, its week 6 of school now! It has been crazy, what's with my 5CU semester and going for FTW, OCSP stuff and CCA. And the crazier part is that i kind of enjoy the craziness, which is crazy because i'm pretty busy this semester as compared to the last. Take last week for instance, i went home late literally everyday. And like how i reached home at 12am after a project meeting on Thursday night and had like a 5 hours sleep before heading back to school for a 8.15am class and presentation. But really, i am honestly truthfully sincerely enjoying this semester which is completely insane hahaha. Then again, i guess taking modules that you have real interest definitely helps a lot!
Its kind of crazy how time flies. It seemed like it was just yesterday, when we are some 13 year old kids playing around after class. But now, we are already celebrating our 21st! Anyhow, here's to the year when everyone in the photo turns 21!
