So... its that time of the year again; HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO MYSELF! Having mixed feelings about my birthday this time round. Really blessed to have my friends and family celebrating with me but i guess, like everyone else, i don't ever want to grow older hahaha. Turning 20 definitely means 'goodbye teenage years and hello adulthood' and i'm not quite sure if i'm ready for what's waiting for me out there! But you know what, time to have some fun and yolo a little before i get even older!
Well, turning 20 also means that i get to take a selfie with my cake and post it shamelessly hahaha (insert monkey-covering-eyes emoji here)! Also, this year is a pretty good year, i should say. After 3 long years, i finally get to sleep like a king and eat like a pig on my birthday (and not study) since i'm done with all my exams for the semester! On top of that, i have had 4 cakes for my birthday this year (now i really do sound like a pig hahahaha)! Too blessed and really super thankful to everyone!
Anyhow, here's to the good years ahead and may Jolene grow up (mentally) and stop growing up (age and physically) hahahaha.
