Time
"Try to imagine a life without timekeeping. You probably can't. You know the month, the year, the day of the week. There is a clock on your wall or the dashboard of your car. You have a schedule, a calendar, a time for dinner or a movie. Yet all around you, timekeeping is ignored. Birds are not late. A dog does not check its watch. Deer do not fret over passing birthdays. Man alone measures time. Man alone chimes the hour. And, because of this, man suffers a paralysing fear that no other creature endures. A fear of time running out." - An excerpt from The Time Keeper by Mitch Albom

Heard so many good reviews about Mitch Albom's books and have never really got a chance to start on any one of it until now. Was just reading the first few pages of The Time Keeper and the book already seems so promising!

Time; One of the many things in life that is not within our control. Every day, every hour, every minute and every second, the clock is ticking away. Each day passing quicker than the last and us, growing older as the time pass. I think everyone, including me, wish we can stop time. Because we fear of growing up, the fear of getting more responsibilities, the fear of the obstacles ahead of us, the fear of not knowing what is going to happen in the future or maybe even tomorrow and the list goes on. Most people will say, to live the moment and to live in the present; Learn from yesterday, live for today and hope for tomorrow.

So, right. Classes are starting next week for real. It's definitely a HELLO TO UNIVERSITY LIFE for me. I'm starting to wonder what in the world have i been doing for the past few months ever since my last project submission in TP. Come to think of it, i don't think i have did or accomplish a lot of things over the past 5 months (well, except for all the travelling, reading and stuff.....) so...... where in the world did all the time went to?! Time definitely flew, so far in 2014 and yeah, i will say a lot of things did happened since January. Major project, major project, study, projects, major projects, tests, projects, more projects, more major project, presentations, projects and major projects. I think i only got to breathe after March (where its also the start of holidays). So it was cafe-hopping, hong kong, movies, interviews, meet-ups, korea, batam, GRADUATION, more meet-ups, more cafe-hopping, talks, briefings, camps, convocation and finally...... the start of school again. From next week onwards, i'm going to be a freshman all over again (since the start of camp actually lol). Being in a new environment, new school, having new friends, new professors, new timetable and back to finding classrooms and seminar rooms for classes! I guess i will take this opportunity to get a fresh start as well - step out of my comfort zone and treating everything new as a growing up experience! I will do well right...? Here is optimistic Jolene wavering again... hahaha.

Have late dinner plans at Switch on Saturday with some of my dear friends to party before my university life starts hahahahaha (sounds like i'm going abroad to study but yeah)! Oh, i can't wait yay!!!
