Just about last week, Sumanjit came back to Singapore for a 3-weeks holiday from UK. In case you didn't know, she left Singapore permanently about 3.5 years back in 2011. It was really sad for me because she was one of my really close friends in secondary school. Imagine losing a movie, gossip and a foodie friend. Now that she is back (even if it was pretty much at a wrong timing hahaha), i will definitely make time for her! So, it was a Poulet and Koi date for us on Wednesday heh! Please pardon my face below hahahaha. Being sick plus having a severe lack of sleep doesn't make a good selfie LOL.
Having a long-distance friendship with a 7-hours time difference ain't easy to be honest. I'm really glad that we still remained in contact during these 3.5 years. Still remembered how we had to email each other because Sumanjit doesn't have whatsapp and only transited to that after a couple of months. 3 weeks is going to pass in a jiffy and i feel really bad that i couldn't spend more time with her because of my camps and other commitments. After all, how often can she come back to visit right!
